My name is Dace Ķerāne. I am a teacher and a volunteer in the Open City project. I live in my hometown and I can't imagine myself anywhere else, because nowhere is as good as home, and we are the ones responsible for creating our best home. You can always sink in the "bad" swamp, but you can also live your best life by doing the things you love - for me that's art and working with children. I care about my city and I want to help it grow so that when my daughter grows up, she will love this place as much as I do.
